Hope you’re healthy and happy.
Here are a few tips that came handy when I lost 30 kgs. Today I’m going to share some of them that can be of great help to you. Check them out.
- Taking care of your GUT health - Gut health improves digestion, reduces inflammation, reduces cravings and improves your energy levels. I teach you how to help your gut in my program.
- Consume protein in every meal - Protein helps increase muscle mass and helps keep you full for longer. It’s an essential nutrient that should be a part of every meal.
- Sleeping to balance my hormones - Sleeping literally improves your hormone functionality and balances them. Sleep regularly at the same time for atleast 8 hours.
- Taking my mental health seriously - Mental health is one of the most important factors in losing weight because stress leads to higher cortisol levels which can disrupt your fat burning process and cause a lot of emotional harm as well. I’ve overcome depression and I also teach how to manage stress and get over mental health problems in my program.
- Practicing a hobby everyday - Practicing a hobby everyday just improves mood, reduces stress and increases creativity. It’s the best part of my day and also my time.
- Eating my favorite food twice a month - Eating your favorite food while on your fitness journey is absolutely important. I ate pizza twice a month while I was losing 32 kgs. It tells your brain that you’re more satisfied and less deprived. It helps with better adherence to a healthy diet. Many people find it difficult to stick to a restrictive diet for a prolonged period of time. Including occasional treats like pizza/ desserts in your diet can make it easier to adhere to a healthy eating plan in the long term.
